Ken Hawley has worked with several Maine ministries serving our youth for 20 years. He was the Teen Director at The Root Cellar in Portland and served as Teen Events Coordinator for Luis Palau’s Mission Maine crusade. He has been ministering to inmates at the Maine Correctional Center for over 15 years. Ken is president and founder of Future Men Ministries, a 19 year old wilderness adventure ministry that prepares young men to be future Christian leaders.
Ken worked as Maine State Director for Straight Head Ministries. He has recruited, trained and placed several hundreds of volunteers to serve inside Maine Correctional facilities, with the purpose of sharing God’s redemptive love.
Ken founded The Transformation Project in 2015 and now serves as the President and CEO. Ken remains committed to seeing Jesus Christ transform the lives of our young offenders by providing opportunities for employment, housing, mentoring, life skills and discipleship for those transitioning back into our communities.
Ken and his wife Miriam live in Casco, Maine with their 3 children, Caleb age 13, Grace age 11 and Joshua age 9. Their oldest son Blake is 26 graduated with his master degree in music performance.
